Although Sinatra and Romeo didn’t know each other before they were captured in helicopter round-ups by the Bureau of Land Management, they both ended up in Bastrop, Louisiana kill pens. They were set to be shipped to slaughter before fate intervened and we rescued them.
Sinatra is somewhat comfortable with people; he is halter broke and was clearly someone’s pet before he was sent to the kill pen. Romeo, on the other hand, has severe trauma and is terrified of humans.
We are working hard to give these beautiful mustangs both a home and shelter; we want to provide them with the love, care, and kindness they deserve.
