Our grassland restoration project is currently happening at Engler Canyon Ranch and will soon expand to Disappointment Valley Mustang Sanctuary as well as our other properties. Every detail is considered as we ensure that our development won’t impede on existing habitats. The decorative landscaping is designed around species that are favorites for nesting birds, a refuge for toads, beneficial for pollinators, and drought tolerant so we’re not pulling excess water from the streams.

Our goal isn’t simply to make things look great or to plant grass for the horses; rather, it is an exclusive focus on what mix of grasses will provide the widest food source and habitat for as many creatures as possible, for as long as possible.
